Stunning four-bedroom chalet Ambre ski rental hidden in a tranquil area of Tignes de Lac with balconies and mountain views. The chalet is set in the centre of the Espace Kelly ski area in Tignes with direct ski-in, ski-out access to the slopes.
The chalet Ambre rental has fantastic mountain views of the nearby peaks which can be seen from either the outdoor hot tub on one of the chalet’s many terraces or balconies.
This new-build chalet was completed in 2014 and provides a perfect combination of modern luxury and traditional alpine furnishings. The chalet is spread over three floors with four intricately styled bedrooms each with en-suite shower rooms and access to private balconies or the terrace. The chalet sleeps eight but can also be rented jointly with the adjacent Chalet Opale to accommodate 18 people in total.
The master bedroom is located on the top floor where floor to ceiling French windows open onto the balcony and make the most of the natural light. The master suite has an en-suite shower room.
The first floor is home to a fantastic open plan living and dining area with wonderful views over Torviere mountain. A grand fireplace and L-shaped sofa create an ideal ambience for relaxation in the evening. The elegant connecting dining room boasts a stunning chandelier above the table which comfortably seats ten people. The chalet Ambre rental also has satellite TV and a state-of-the-art Bose sound system.
The main sleeping floor is found on the ground floor with two twin/double bedrooms. Both rooms have en-suite shower rooms and elegant French windows opening out onto the terrace. Another family suite has a twin/double bedroom and a bunk room to sleep two people. These rooms share an en-suite shower room. Every bedroom has a flat screen TV.
On the lower ground floor is the ski room with heated boot warmers and a staff office for maximum privacy during your stay. A covered parking space is also available. The chalet Ambre rental can be rented on either a catered or non-catered basis with the former coming with a shared driving service between 8.30am-10.30am and 3.30pm-8pm.
Tignes is 2.5 hours from Chambery airport, 3 hours from Lyons and 3.5 hours from Geneva. Ski trains from St Pancras stop at Bourg St Maurice, the closest station to Tignes with regular buses up to the resorts.

Tignes is also a favourite with families, offering wide, cruising blue runs ideal for intermediate skiers. All five villages – the remaining two are Tignes Les Boisses and Les Brévières – are connected by shuttle bus.
