Idealy located in between the ski area and town centre, Chalet Le Daray is a showcase of modern comfort mixed with traditional alpine fittings and furnishings. Sleeps 8 + 1.
The first floor boasts a spacious open plan living and dining area with floor to ceiling French windows overlooking the large terrace with fantastic panoramic mountain views of the peaks. The living areas high-beamed ceilings and stone fireplace along with cozy sofas provide an essence of tranquillity in the chalet. The dining area comfortably sits 10 people and connects to the bar and fully fitted kitchen.
The Le Daray penthouse en-suite master bedroom has French windows opening out onto the properties south-facing balcony. A further en-suite double bedroom also opens onto the balcony with an en-suite twin room and triple bedroom with a private shower room complete the chalet’s bedroom composition. All the rooms have TV’s and soft towels, robes, slippers and other bathing products will be provided before your arrival. The apartment sleeps nine.
A lift or stairs can take you up to the apartment. Other facilities include a private ski locker with heated boot warmers, a private laundry room and two internal garage parking spaces. The property has a state of the art integrated sound system and Apple TV.
The Le Rouge piste can be reached within a short walk from the property. The desirable Le Daray penthouse apartment can be rented on either a catered or self-catered basis, the former of which usually coming with a complimentary 24-hour driving service.
Verbier is an exquisite resort showcasing the best that the Swiss Alps has to offer. The resort is a 2 hour (160km) drive from Geneva airport.
Sion airport, just 50 minutes away by car, can accommodate private jets and offers helicopter transfers. You can also land private helicopters closer in Le Chable, only 15 minutes into Verbier town centre.
Read full detailsVerbier is the ideal ski resort for those who enjoy après skiing as much as skiing. With over 410 km of piste and a range of runs from the gentle Les Esserts to the challenging bumps of Tortin, there is plenty for active novice and advanced skiers.
In addition to the extensive and well maintained pistes, Verbier has vast marked off-piste areas and is recognized as one of the premiere "off-piste" resorts in the world. The après ski scene at Verbier is well known and has a justifiably high reputation with established names such as Farinet, Coco and The Farm Club.
In the summertime there are 400 km of hiking trails and hikers can follow the tracks of the chamois and ibex through the mountains, some of them covered with snow all year round. There are 200 km of mountain bike piste. Other activities include climbing, paragliding, swimming, golf, badminton, ice karting, trips aboard the mountain railways in the area, and an annual music festival.
Getting there: Verbier can be accessed by road or by train. From Martigny a regional train leads to Le Châble and from there a cable car or bus takes you up to Verbier.
Verbier is around 2 hours' drive from Geneva, 1 hour from Chamonix and 3 hours from Zurich. The nearest international airport is Geneva.
Non-stop flight connections are available between Geneva and most major European cities as well as Moscow, UAE and New York City. Private Jets can fly into Sion airport and from there it is possible to transfer by helicopter.
